My husband had the same problems

He took Depakote for 3 months and it was horrible. He gained a lot of weight despite reducing his daily calorie intake and exercising; his memory was so bad, he couldn't get through a take out order for our family of four without forgetting something; his migraines actually got worse on the drug and he started to feel depressed. preventative medications

I am thinking of trying Lyrica. Has anyone had good success? I've tried a lot of different ones. Nothing is particularly great. I had a reprieve from a bad bout of Migraines after having had a surgery with anesthesia and switching meds again to Depakote and amytriptiline. Now they are returning with the same chronicity.
