Botox for Migraines?

Has anyone used botox for their migraines? I have between 5-10  migraines a week. I can controll the major pain with medication but the problem is my insurance only allowes 8 pills a month ~ I have read about botox but do not know if insurances are allowing this as a bonifided treatment ~ Any experience with botox/insurance companies? Disability and Migraines

Good Day,I have had migraines my entire life but recently within the last 10 years they have gotten really bad. I will get anywhere between 1-2 a week and they normally last 2-3 days. steady headache for 2 weeks and counting

I am getting worried now. I usually get Migraines maybe twice a month, but now i have had this same slight headache for over 2 weeks. It will get stronger, then soften up a little, i am taking over the counter meds almost on a daily basis, and i try to not take them everyday....does anyone know if this is a sympton of something, im freaking out... Read moreChevron

infrared sauna

I am wondering if using an infrared sauna would help with migraine prevention. (Yes I drink water while inside it and after.) I also have a very tight stiff neck and shoulders and just the very beginnings of osteoarthritis. They are used partly for detoxification and the heat is relaxing but can also cause vasodilation.
