Tomorrow I get Botox for migraine treatment

I have been suffering with migraines for over 20 yrs. I have recently been diagnosed with hemiplegic migraines. I have tried most of the medications used to treat migraines with little success and most of the triptans and antiseziure medications no longer work.

Daily migraines

I often read about others who suffer with the brain fog, daily chronic migraines, rebound headaches and depression. I too suffer from all of the above and can think of others at times anxiety to name one. Occipital Decompression surgery

Just an update I had the occipital decpmression surgery Monday Dec 5th Dr. Ducic. I went into surgery with an 8 day migraine and came out with incision pain. I have been resting and I was free from migraine pain for 9 days. I got a mild headache/migraine last evening and took meds and it went away. In a Nutshell

Migraine, weight gain, depression. This is my life, in a nutshell. The only other thing that occupies a space in my consciousness is my job, and how I have to somehow keep it for the insurance that allows me to afford all my prescriptions. Is this any way to live? No. And the alternatives are...?? Anyone??
