Massage and Migraines? What a relief!

I've no doubt this has been a discussion topic and I hope you all don't mind me asking...how is it that a talented massage therapist can literally make my migraine disappear with his or her magic hands?    I recently learned I have some residual nerve damage in my neck from an old body surfing accident.  (Sandbar 1, Sage O) ... Read moreChevron

Regular migraines & occassionally silent migraine

I'm feeling much better now but had a pretty bad migraine last night. I've felt it coming on for a couple of days (mild-controlled fairly well by Tylenol), but last night it came on full force. Rice itself is great during a... Read moreChevron

Basal migraine

I have just been diagnosed with Basal migraine. I have been dealing with migraines since 2005. The current (and second) neurologist I am seeing (since 2007) put me on Topamax and has pretty much been at a loss with me. His loss stems from the fact that my migraine has no triggers. My migraines have been less frequent on Topamax... Read moreChevron
