just started to take topamax last night

I have been takeing topamax for 24 hours now and I just feel awful. Im exhausted and cranky.. Does this go away? im on the 25 mg at night then in 1 week to increase to 50 mg a day.. also I noticed i have my appitite but eh not really, diet coke taste like crap which i new would happen however i have a very bad salt craving, anyone else?
