Q: What Might Cause A Sharp Pain In The Top Of My Head?

I have sharp pains and constant pain at the same time that last most of the day. This is a daily event.  Does anyone know what could be causing it?

Hi zoey beth,

This is such a broad question there are books and books written about it Smile. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor, describe your symptoms, tell him or her how long they have been going on, and see what she or he says.  A diagnosis can only be provided by a doctor who can review your medical history, your family's medical history, discuss your symptoms, and conduct a complete exam in person. Does that make sense?

It is important to know all you can about the type of Migraine and/or headache disorder you have. This is for purposes of treatment, correct diagnosis, our own education and getting the proper care when you are away from home, etc., When you get a chance take a look at these articles and links for more information.
