Am I just being paronoid? But why don't my doctors want to do any more tests? I had a MRI done last February and it found nothing, I've I CT & spinal taps also in the past.  I have been diagnose with migraines for the past 3 years now, does that mean the testing just ends???  Do I keep asking for MRI's or no??

My first real experience with chronic head pain...

Hi Ericaneedeshelp,

Unless your Migraines have changed or you have new or different symptoms, I'm not sure why you would need an MRI. But remember, we are not medical professionals. MRI's are not on a rountine basis, they are used as a diagnostic tool, not for monitoring a condition. Does that help any?

Good luck

Nancy

This animation shows one of the key causes of pain during a migraine--changes to the blood flow within the brain.
