Q: is it possible to suffer a migraine without headache pain if I suffer from the pre-migraine symtoms?

I suffered from typical migraines about 20 years ago.  They suddenly stopped and hadn't had any symptoms in over 20 years.  Recently I've been having major aura which last for about 45 minutes.  Very minor headache afterwards.  Now I have had memory loss where I can't even remember anyone's name.....followed by an aura.  Still no headaches.  Is this is migraines?  Or something more serious.......

Hi Adrianamazutis

It very well could be Acephalgic or Silent Migraine. Just because you are having the prodrome and aura phase only - does not mean it's not a Migraine.

I would check back with your doctor on this one - Silent Migraines can be treated with preventives too!

Good Luck!
