Hi SearsSteph, It really varies from doctor to doctor what type of drugs will be given to help relieve withdrawal symptoms of Medication Overuse Headache. They may administer anti-nausea and anti-anxitey medications during your stay to help with these symptoms. After you leave the hospital it will be important not to take any pain medications to continue on with the "detox" process. It can take two-10 days for the withdrawal sypmtoms to stop.
