In 2010, I'm not really making resolutions, but I AM making plans and renewing my commitment to work with my doctor to maintain the best Migraine and headache management possible for me?
How about you?

Funny you should mention this, Teri. I was just saying last night that my plan for the new year was to
a) (stop laughing) Nof goober up anything- eg- no falls, no car accidents, just taking care of myself.
b) Getting the Magnesium Sulfate local infusion people and my local HA specialist on the same page- Like actually having the staffs of both places interface through a letter, or on the phone, so I can get that going!
It might take some leg work on my part, but I WILL get this going ASAP.
c)keep hydrated at all times, even if I'm not "thirsty." Especially in winter.
d) Do a better job of keeping a Migraine Diary. (blush) And actually practice what I preach.
e) emailing Dr K sooner before things get out of control, and wind up in a bad situation, and needing to get on a plane to Dallas ASAP.
f) communicating better with DH when I'm having prodrome and postdrome, so that he knows better how to deal with my mood swings, aphasia, and other related symptoms, and not just "being hard to deal with."
g) actually exercising. Maybe pulling out the Wii fit again, and getting the new add on game-- with more activities and goals.... at gamestop, a used copy is only 12.99... Worth a try, I guess.
k) keeping in better touch with my "non-Migraineur" friends who I miss tremendously, but don't see as often due to schedules, or Migraines...
That's a lot. I hope to do these. If I do 3/4 of them, I'll be happy. But, I'm aiming for the stars right now, and nothing is too specific, so I stand a chance.

Wow must have been a God send to come across this site while I was looking for info. No 2010 has given me 3 migraines 3 days in a row. I am thinking about asking my Dr to change my medicine. I have been on it for maybe 5 to 6 years before that it was something else. But it always comes back to well think about taking a daily med for migraines. I know my triggers but at times it is difficult to pin point them. For instance I am heading into menipause the night sweats always are worse in the winter, the weather was 0 to -5 temps with windchill. So i do not let them define me but it is difficult being a migaine suffer.
