lisa,

I can't offer you any personal experience with Thorazine infusions, but thought some information on IV infusions in general might be helpful to you. You can find quite a bit of information in our article IV Treatment of Refractory Migraines.

I hope this is of some use to you,

Teri

Yes. I have been given thorazine through iv infusion for migraine pain along with dilaudid. My headache doctor also prescribes the 25mg pills for migraines that last for days and it seems to work. You can take up to 100mg in a 12 hour period and thats enough to knock you out and sleep off the headache. If you have frequent migraines I would ask your doctor about this drug. It can help. I've had a 6 day running migraine right now and I'm using it and it is slowly lessening my symptomsI
