Hi janicetaylor2004

While it is possible to have a combination of Migraine and headache disorders, we are not medical professionals so we can't tell you which ones you may or may not have.

We can give you some information though, to discuss with your doctor. Do you mean combination of Migraine and headache?  I, for example, have Tension-Type Headaches and Menstrually-related Migraine without aura. The best thing is to see a Migraine specialist to get an accurate diagnosis and treatment. You can look at our patient recommended specialists list HERE to find one.

Yes, for example I take neurontin, inderal, lexapro and then for pain...as needed..imitrex or migrin, or vicidin, or butabital..

I don't know if it was for lack of a better diagnosis but a while back my doctor told me that I had 2 types of migraines.  Lately, my migraines have evolved into something wicked on a daily basis and I can now identify up to 4 different types.  What I've been doing is keeping a daily journal on what type of migraine/head pain I had that day, noting a pain scale, duration, which side of head was affected, triggers, and any other tidbits of info that may or may not appear relevant.  This is supposed to be a useful tool for the doctor when he is trying to figure out what type of treatment might work best.  You are not alone in this, I hope you are able to find some relief soonSmile

I would say yes, since i do.  I get the tension headaches, the migraine that is all over my head, and now I get the "ice pick" headaches.

Yes, many have different types of migraines. Since there are over 300 different types of migraines and headaches.

It took me a while to figure out what kind I had while I was getting them. I not only have migraine but I also have a type of cluster headache.

My view of life through the eyes of a Migraineur!

Hope you have a pain free day!Cool
