Q: last night i had a multi-colored aura followed by passing with a siezure, what might have caused that ?

This is a question that can't be accurately answered by anyone other than a doctor who can review your medical history, discuss your symptoms with you, and examine you in person.
What you describe could have been a seizure triggered by a Migraine aura, or it could have been a seizure not related to Migraine. Have you been diagnosed previosuly with Migraine?
Wish we could tell you more, but nobody can really answer this one via the Internet.
