Q: If pfosurgery doesn't heal properly ,is it safe for the doctor to go back in a second time

after pfo surgery

Marsha,

 

That depends on many things -- the health of the patient, how it didn't heal properly, etc.

 

I'm sorry, but we just can't answer this question. It can only be answered by a doctor who has access to films and other test results and can examine you. If you're uncertain of the answers from the cardiologist who performed the PFO closure, see another cardiologist for a second opinion.
