The specific dosage depends on many things -- her age, other physical conditions she may be dealing with, other medications she takes, and more. If that dosage doesn't help with her Migraines, her doctor may increase the dosage or change to a different medication. It can take up to three months to know if it's working.   If the propranolol doesn't help, there are many other medications that can be used for Mgraine prevention.
