Ok. occassionally, maybe twice a month i will have these migraines. But whats wierd is that I go to bed normal, fall asleep, am dreaming and then the migraine kicks in. extremelly powerful migraines. When i realize im dreaming and have a migraine i try to wake myself, but some times its extremelly difficult. Its like im paralyzed. And for some reason when im dreaming with this migraine, I feel like if i continue in my dream im going to discover something, but the pain becomes unbearable, so i awake myself. And when i wake up i still feel paralyzed. my body is trembling. My ear is ringing extremelly loud. louder than normal ( i have a permenant ringing in my ear from a head injury). But the migraine disappears almost immediatly. I have never had migraines outside of my dreams. This has been going on since i was a sophmore (6 years now)

Hi Matt!

As I understand from your question, you are only getting these Migraines while sleeping and you've never had a Migraine while awake?

I just want to make sure I got that right....

The only advise I can give you is to talk with your doctor. Something like this needs to be discussed, especially if you have paralysis type symptoms going on.

We have a list of Migraine and Headache Specialists here on the site that may help you find someone.

Good Luck!
