22 year old, had headache for 12 hours. C/O flashing lights in right eye, talked incoherantly for 1 minute and went into a seizure lasting 2.5 mins. No CT done. Dx with syncope with collapse. States he had cold hands and feet prior. Now, is anxious about another one happening.

Hi Myra,
I am so sorry I haven't answered you sooner, but I hope by now the 22 year old has been to another doctor to see what is going on. At least to have an EEG of his brain for seizure activity. Do the doctors know what caused the syncope?
If you still don't have answers, find another doctor who will work with you to get them. A 22year old shouldn't be living in fear of collasping and feeling poorly all the time.
