My grandaughter has very intense Migraine Headaches. the heaches started when she was 4 years old, noe 17. They come every three months has had many brain test and finds nothing. Is there a medical terminology for these types of Migraines. I call the seasonal because that is when she has them when the season changes.

Migraine is a genetic neurological disease thought to be caused by overactive neurons in our brains and genetics. I'm sorry to hear your grandaughter is having a hard time.
Does she have an accurate diagnosis? One of the most important things she can do is to get an accurate diagnosis. This will simplify matters and make it easier for her to get the correct information and treatment. Today, doctors usually go by the gold standard for diagnosis, the International Headache Society's International Classification of Headache Disorders, 2nd Edition (ICHD-II).
