Q: What's it mean when the headaches stop for 22 years and then suddenly reappear?

From 1980 through 1986 I would get migraines every 4 months.  They stopped completely.  3 weeks ago I had my first one in 22 years, and what's worse is that I just had another one yesterday (which I can still feel behind my left eye when I move my head).

I suppose my concern is, aside from this curse resurrecting itself, that this is a symptom of something even worse?  Am I paranoid, and if not, why is this happening?

Hi Michael

Only a doctor would be able to help you with this question. It may be a good idea to have a complete medical exam to make sure everything is ok, but having said that, Migraines can occur at any age!

Good luck

Nancy
