Q: Is this a migraine? Should I go to the hospital?

I have experienced the following twice in my life, the last time about 1 hour ago. My vision all of a sudden was as it I had been staring at the sun. It was as if it were I could only see spots. Then my left hand became numb and I got a severe headache. Is this typical of a migraine? Can you explain this? What should I do? Should I go to the E.R. ?

mishka,

What you're describing could be a Migraine or something else entirely. Nobody can tell via the Internet.

You need to either go to the ER or call your doctor first thing in the morning.

What did your doctor say the first time this happened?

Please let us know how you're doing?

Good luck,

Teri
