Q: migraine-relieving surgery

I have tried repeatedly to save the article on the plastic surgeon in Cleveland who is doing a migraine-relieving surgery. Do you have the information on how this Doctor's office may be contacted?

Sandra,

No, we do not have that information, nor will we have it at any time in the future. There is no cure for Migraine disease, and that surgery certainly isn't one. I have talked with a couple of people who had it and said it TEMPORARILY reduced the frequency of their Migraines. It never eliminated all of them, and a few months after the surgery, they were having as many Migraines as they did before the surgery.

Actually, I apologize that the article was even in our newsletter. It was in there by error. This procedure is also not new. Trust me, if it were as good as the doctor says it is, we'd have heard much more about it by now.

i contacted that dr. and the cost of the surgery is 20,000-25,00 dollars, they honestly told me that insurance usually does not cover hardly any of it, they do it in 4-5 places around the head, it sounds all exciting but who knows, they told me to try botox first and if it works well for me then i am a good candidate for the surgery i have had other women tell me botox works, i might try that next, good luck
