I have been having acupuncture 1 - 2X per month since October.  The frequency and severity has seemed to decrease for me, as well.  Twice I've had treatments during attacks, and both times got relief.  The problem is, it does get pricey, and I have to drive 1-1/2 hours to my therapist.  For those who feel this type of treatment is too "out there," let me say that a treatment relaxes me similarly to the way I feel after a massage...And, the theory of getting things flowing freely makes it seem to make sense in treating migraines.  Hope this helps!
