I have sysmtoms of an ice pick headache that has lasted for three days. I have never expirenced this, but have had migraines in the past. I went to the doctor and he perscribed Indomethacin. It stopped the pain but made me feel EXTREMELY sick and dizzy. Any advice?

Do you mean that you had multiple ice pick headaches over a three-day period? If you need any info on this type of headaches, take a look at Ice Pick Headaches - The Basics.

Indomethacin is the medication most known to be effective at preventing ice pick headaches or stopping a series of them, but it can have some side effects, especially stomach issues. Talk with your doctor about the problem. He may prescribe something for your stomach to take before the indomethacin, or he may want to try something such as Celebrex.

Good luck.
