3 weeks of dizziness w/ no headaches

I have a history of migranes (loss of sight,numbness,nausea,headache- the whole works), but suddenly 3 weeks ago I started getting really dizzy. No headaches or anything, just dizzy pretty much all the time. I was freaking out wondering what could be wrong, until I started reading about different types of migranes. I'm 36 and was wondering if this is just a new "phase" of migrane that I am going to get now due to hormones and age? I haven't been to the doctor yet, and I will to make sure it isn't any inner ear problem, but just wanted to see if this was a normal "migrane" thing for my age. Being dizzy is really annoying!

Any insight would be most appreciated!!!

My first real experience with chronic head pain...

Sunday, January 25, 2009

Hi kimmybbo,

Anytime we have a change in our symptoms is it important to discuss them with our doctor. A call to him would be in order.

Acephalgic or silent Migraine is a type of Migraine where there is no headache phase, but you get all the other sypmtoms of a Migraine. You may also want to discuss this with your doctor. We have information on this type of Migraine you can see by reading this article: Acephalgic or Silent Migraine - The Basics.

Good luck

Nancy
