Q: can phenergan use cause rebound headaches

my 15 year old daughter has had transformed migraines for about 8 months.  She has gone off of all pain meds, but is still using daily preventive meds and phenergan (almost daily) for nausea.  I'm wondering if the phenergan can cause rebound headaches since she is off of all other meds.

I know of no evidence that phenergan can cause medication overuse headache, aka rebound. If you need it, you can find more information on medication overuse headache in Medication Overuse Headache - When the Remedy Backfires.

I hope your daughter is doing better!
