Hi mamatw3gs, It is very difficult to raise a family with Migraine disease. Some people have luck with acupuncture in addition to traditional medication. Depending on where in IN you live, you will have to travel to another state to see a true Migraine specialist. Some people here travel from PA to TX to see their specialist and have their lives back again. We have a list of patient recommended specialist you can see HERE. A true Migraine specialist is a doctor who devotes his/her entire practice to Migraine disease and headache disorders. Neurologists, may be fine doctors, but treat so many different conditions it is hard for them to be true experts in any one area. I hope this help. Nancy
