I have been getting Migraine since I was little, but they seem to be a bit different now.
I just moved, and about a week ago I got a Migraine. But for some reason this time I seem to have more pain in my left eye. I know when I'm about to get a migraine. Sometimes I can do something and other times its to late. After being in bed the whole day in the dark with vomiting I sent my husband to get me water to keep something in my tummy, but I could not even focus. The left eye was hurting me so much. I just wanted to grab it and throw it out of my head. At about 2 am my migraine started to go away and I feel asleep. When I woke up the next day at 10 am I had I shap pain still in my eye. The migraine seem to be gone but not the eye pain. I took some "migraine excedrin" for the pain and it went away in 30 min. After that I still get bad pains in the back of my left eye that seem to start my migraines now. I'm not sure if its because Of age,(25) but when I was little my eyes would hurt to the point where i was just keep in the dark and that would fix it or make it a bit better. Now I just cant seem to control the pain. It hurt way!!! to much. I was wondering if this was normal??
Thank you so much!
Hello, Esmerelda,
What is "normal?" Itt's different for everyoone.
You need to contact your doctor about this. Any time our Migraines are differenn, need to contact our doctors to be sure that what we're experiencing IS Migraine and not something else. Your doctor may want you to have a good exam with an ophthalmologist too, just to be sure.
Good luck,
Teri
