I have been having vascular migrains for about 5 years over the past 2 months they have gotten alot worse. When I have a migrain my rightside becomes weak and numb. I have an appointment with a nerologest but not for a month at my family pracice office I see some one new a pa who has only known me a few  months she has no idea about my past with my migrains , I spent a wee in the hospital a few years ago because they thought I had a stroke. She just treats me like a drug seeker it is very fustrating and I hate going to see her, I feel like I am bothering her and a nussens   to her but my internal med

Dr is in the same office I can just never get in to see him what do I do I am so selfconcess about seeing her because I know how she is going to treat me and she has no Idea how much pain I am in when I have a migrain and how worried I am when it hard to get the right side of my body to work what do I do? Should I seek out another Pa one who might be a littel more understanding?

Hi Michelle!

First of all, drop the doctors that don't listen and find yourself a specialist. If true motor weakness ic caused by Migraine, it can only be Hemiplegic Migraine and you need a specialist to diagnose and treat you.

Here is our list of Patient Recommended Migraine Specialists

Please don't wait on this, you need to see a neurologist or specialist about this now!

Good luck to you.
