Q: How can we get excedrin to pull their new Head-Ache/What-Ache commercial?

Excedrin has this new commercial of people dancing at a club. Someone gets a headache, pops an Excedrin, voila all better. The slogan is Head-Ache - Excedrin - What Ache?   This is just the kind of advertising that keeps people in the stone ages about debilitating headache disorders     I think it's obscene of Exedrin to do this.

Is there anyway we can get Excedrin to pull this commercial?

Hi grateful,

I'm not sure if there is a way to get them to pull the ad, but you could certainly write to the company and let them know your concerns about the commercial.

I agree.  First of all, headaches aren't gone that quickly. Sometimes it takes a few hours after taking Excedrin to get rid of one. They should never advertise it that way. I would suggest getting on their website and telling them how misleading the ad is and ask them to pull it from the television ads. Maybe enough of us saying something will take it off the air.
