Total "blank" spells of up to 8 hours, memory loss, aphasia, seizures - diagnosis atypical migraine?

Does anyone out there suffer from -or have an explanation for - the total "blank" spells that I get where I can "lose" up to 8 hours - I am not necessarily unconscious but I am aphasic, numerically muddled etc and I remember nothing about it. Seizures have been involved but they are now...
