Hi Sick and Poor,

This is a question I can't answer for you because I am unable to tell you for certain whether you do or don't qualify for disability. That determination is made by Social Services. I can however, give you some information that may help answer some of your questions.

Disability is a paid by the Federal Goverenment so it does not vary from state to state.  I believe the limit is 10 years, so you are well within that time frame.
