Hi Charlene!   To answer the first part of your question, yes we have doctors from British Columbia on our patient recommended list of Migraine Specialists.   Second, I want to say good job for wanting better for yourself and looking for a new doctor!   Third, if Maxalt is giving you harsh side affects, you may want to look into the other seven triptans, if you have not tried them yet already. They are: Frova, Imitrex, Treximet, Relpax, Amerge, Axert, and Zomig.   Not all triptans have the same side affects. I personally tried four before I found that Frova works best for me, and with the least side affects. So keep trying!   Good luck! I wish you the best with the new doctor!
