Q: I have the aura migranes. Can a change in altitude cause these migranes?

Hi carol, 

 

Changes in barometric pressure and altitude can trigger a Migraine with or without aura for some people. Weather is a trigger we can't avoid. But we do have some information to better manage them. The thinking is that Migraineurs have overly sensitive brains and lots of flucuation can trigger a Migraine attack for some people.
