Q: amerge

Daughter has migraines.Interested in people's experiences using the drug,amerge. I'd be interested if it has helped or if its benefits were hampered by its side effects.

As you may or may not know, Amerge is a triptan. Triptans are used to abort migraines, which means actually stop the migraine process. Clicking on the link will bring you to our info page on Amerge, which includes possible side effects. The benefits of taking a triptan is that it actually stops the migraine process if it works for the patient taking it.

 

Also note, there are 6 other triptans currently on the market if Amerge does not work for your daughter.

 

Please always remember to follow doctors instructions when taking Amerge or any other drug.
