has anyone taken the generic for topamax and it not worked?

I picked up my rx for topamax and they had switched it to the generic. i started taking it 7 days ago and have had a headache everyday with 3 days being horrible migraines. Did anyone else out there switch and it not work? i would love to hear from others and their experience.
