Q: I am under a neurologist's care for migraines, can I be forced to move into an office with mold/mildew that would trigger my migraines?

work environment. Currently I am in a comfortable office space but a request has been made for me to relocate to a different office that leaks when it rains and there is mold/mildew in the ceiling, walls and carpet. This would trigger my migraines on a daily basis.

Hi Ms. anderson,

I'm not sure if you can be "forced" into anything regarding your work situation. Have you spoken with your employer or human resources manager about this? We have some information on work and Migraines you can read about in this article; Protecting your Rights - the Law is only the Beginning.

If this is not helpful, let me know and I will see what other information I can give you, ok?

Nancy
