Hi, joli,

Since you and your husband both have Migraines, your children have a 75% chance of inheriting Migraine disease.

Migraines can begin at any age. They can occur even in children too young to tell us what's wrong.

Start with her regular doctor, then go to a neurologist if her regular doctor can't help or wants to refer her to a neurologist.

You'll also need to discuss treatments with her doctor. Some will recommend various over-the-counter medications, some will prescribe a Migraine abortive such as Midrin. Her doctor can also recommend or prescribe something for her vomiting.

Good luck,

Teri
