Q: is there any relation between hemiplegic migraines and hormones?

when the symptoms of a hemiplegic migraine get worst around the menstrual period is there any realtion and any solution?

Ana,

 

Hormonal fluctuations can be a trigger for hemiplegic Migraine just as for other forms of Migraine. There is no one solution, and with hemiplegic Migraine, extra care must be taken when exploring treatment options.
