Hi Ana!   I used to get horrible menstrual Migraines. They are not as bad now, with a good treatment plan. Are you on preventive medication?   I see you mentioned birth control making it worse......have you tried the 3 month packs like Seasonale? I've found that has really helped me, since you only get your period every 3 months instead of every month. If you've only tried one type of birth control, you may want to talk to your doctor about this 3 month kind if it sounds like something you would give a go again.   Also - I could never find a triptan that touched my menstrual Migraines, until I discovered Frova. There are now eight triptans on the market, so if you've only tried one or two, see if you can try some of the others. They are: Imitrex, Frova, Relpax, Maxalt, Amerge, Axert, Treximet, and Zomig.   Also, see these links for more info on preventive medication and Migraine information:   Migraine Preventive Options: Too Many to Give Up!   Anatomy of a Migraine   Migraines: Where to Start   Good Luck!
