I have found relief with Effexor xr and flexeril at night to relieve the tension of the muscles during sleep.  Also make sure stay away from diet sodas and sugarfree candy or mints.

I am just getting over a 14 day migraine and I am exhausted...two...

After a tilt table test for these symptoms plus fainting, I was told I have neurocardiogenic syncope and placed on midodrine. UNFORTUNATELY, midodrine counteracts the imitrex and I am left with a head with inside spinning and a headache. Anyone else out there find anything?

Hi lorren,

We are unable to diagnose you because we are not medical professionals and you wouldn't want that done online anyway. What we can do is provide you with information.

Have you spoken with your doctor about this "funny pressure headache" like feeling? What was his/her response? If your doctor is not working with you, it may be time for a new doctor. Our quiz, Is Your Doctor Right For You? will help you figure it out.

The expert who treats people with Migraine disease and headaches is a Migraine Specialist. He typically devotes his entire practice to this and is on the cutting edge of treatment options. We have some information on Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special?  and then you may want to look for a Migraine doctor on our patient recommended specialist list HERE.

Good luck

Nancy
