Q: Is there a connection between Chronic Migraines and Conversion Disorder

Hello Haydelyn,


No, there is not a connection between chronic Migraines and conversion disorder. Migraine is a genetic neurological disease.


Conversion disorders are psychoneuroses, which are enuroses based on emational conflict resulting from an impulse that has been blocked and seeks to express itself through a disguised response or symptom. This has nothing at all to do with Migraines.
