Q: should I be getting a "Hemiplegic Headache" at 59???

Migraines of any kind can occur at any age. That said, have you had these before, or is this your first one? Care should always be taken to rule out other issues, especially with hemiplegic Migraine, but if this was your first one, it's recommended that imaging studies and other testing be done to rule out other causes of your symptoms.
