Hi Krista!

No one can diagnose you over the internet. You would need to see your doctor for a diagnosis.

Although the symptoms you are describing could very well be  Migraine, it could also be a number of other things as well. Anatomy of a Migraine explains the phases and possible symptoms that a Migraineur may experience during a Migraine attack, such as ringing in the ears (tinnitus), phonophobia (sensitivity to sound), and photophobia (sensitivity to light). But, this can be symptoms to other things as well.

If you HAVE been diagnosed with Migraine, and these are new symptoms you are experiencing - you need to call your doctor and report them. Any changes in pattern or symptoms needs to be reported.

If you haven't already, please see your doctor.

Good Luck!

One thing you may want to consider is that there may be multiple issues causing your problems.

I suffer from Chronic Acute Daily Migraine, which is no fun.  I have pain all over but especially the back of my head in the ocipital region.  I would suggest you see a neurologist to be checked for tumors, and other causes.  Me, I'm just one of those lucky people who just has it.

I recently found out that I had high pressure in my eyes.  I was sent to a opthamologist who diagnosed me with a rare form of Glaucoma called Pigment Dispersion Glaucoma.  If this had remained untreated it would have caused blindness but they found it early and I had eye surgery to repair and am taking eye drops for a while but other than that I'm good.  Didn't help headaches though.

It's possible that you could have something like this but further along so syptoms are worse.  I would highly suggest you see an opthamologist to be checked for Glaucoma but be warned, tests are expensive. If you have insurance it's not too bad.  But if you have to have eye surgery don't be afraid, it doesn't hurt at all, only a little uncomfortable.

I hope I was able to help a little and that you're able to find some answers.  But I also hope you don't have any of these.

Good Luck,

Bobbi, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Go to this website:  http://www.healthcentral.com/migraine/types-of-headaches-40278-5.html

This is info about Basilar migraine.  This sounds a lot like what you have.  See a neurologist and discuss with them.

Good luck,
