Hi hsblueblood,

Migraines attacks may vary in intensity from one women to another during pregnancy. Sometimes they are substantially less, while other times they can be much more severe. You really need to ask your doctor this question. The best thing is to have your OB/GYN and Migraine doctor work together to treat your Migraines during the pregnancy. There are factors to be considered like the benefit and risks of the medications and how they affect you and your baby.

We have an Ask the Clinician question that may be helpful: Managing Migraines during pregnancy.

I hope this helps

Nope.  The only safe drug is still Tylenol.  My neurologist took me off everything while I was pregnant (propranolol, gabapentin, singulair).  The only other thing that helped was ice packs.  I'd keep several one-time-use packs in my desk drawer at work.  Sometimes I'd still have to go home.  Sorry this doesn't help more!

No.  When I was pregnant with my first daughter, my headaches became nearly non-existant.  I only had a few the entire 9 months.  During labor they started up again and continued on.  My doctor said that it could have been from the hormonal changes.  When I was pregnant with my second daughter the migraines increased.  It was terrible.  When I would get them really bad, my blood pressure would go way up so my doctor told me I could take 1 hydrocodone 5/500 mg tablet.  It helped.  I had to be induced 5 days early due to the pain/BP rising.  I wish I could help more.  Stay strong, you will get through it.
