I'm a separated mother of four.    I'm under...

My beautiful 15 yr old daughter has been having dizzy spells, along with nausea, and headaches.  I took her to her pediatrician, who had blood drawn and tested, and all her values were within normal range.  But, she continues to have these frightening symptoms.  Could this be migraines?  I have migraines, as do the majority of her family on her father's side.  Please, can anyone tell me where to go from here?

RaeDreams,

Yes, your daughter could have Migraine disease. Since you have Migraines, she has a 50% chance of inheriting the disease. If her pediatrician isn't getting her diagnosed, a good neurologist or a Migraine specialist is in order. See our list of Patient Recommended Specialists.
