Hi suzanne,   We aren't medical professionals, therefore can't diagnose people -and you wouldn't want that done online anyway. It does sound like you do need a new doctor though (all specialists are not created equal either .)  Aura does not normally last that long with any Migraine so further investing may be needed.   If your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist. It's important to note that neurologists aren't necessarily Migraine and headache specialists. Take a look at the article Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special? If you need help finding a Migraine specialist, check our listing of Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists.   There is a type of Migraine, silent or Acephalgic Migraine, that has all the phases of a Migraine except the headache phase. But again, the aura phase shouldn't last much longer than the Migraine. Take a look at this article for more information: Acephalgic or Silent Migraine - The Basics. For more information on the four phases of a Migraine, read Anatomy of a Migraine.   Good luck Nancy
