Q: Magnetic Shocks

I just read a post about something called TMS; a device that sends a magnetic pulse through your head to stop a migraine in the aura phase. I do not experience auras but I can tell if a migraine is coming on from the tension in my neck. I know that studies are still being done on the device but does anyone know if this could be used for migraine sufferers who do not experience an aura stage?

Hi there, Nebula,

We just got some great information on TMS at the American Headache Society conference, and I have an interview scheduled with one of the lead researchers. If you can hang on for a couple of days, I'll have an article that will answer a lot of questions up by Monday.

Thanks,
Teri
