Q: why do i have a headache when i wake up

hi my name ia katelyn and i have been waking up every morning or everytime i wake up with a headache and the back of my neck tense and left top cheek bone sore what could cause this also my eyes hurt too

Katelyn,

 

There are a number of things that could cause this. One of the most common reasons for waking with a headache or a Migraine is a sleep issue. Too much sleep, too little sleep, sleeping on an irregular schedule, disrupted sleep, and poor quality sleep can all be possible issues, even if we think we're sleeping well. Unexplained headaches should always be checked out. It's time to see your doctor about these.
