I used to take near the highest amount of topamax until I had kidney stones, unusual for a woman and had to go off of it. It wasn't working anyway. I now take a low level noritryplelene,  20mg ,antidepressant. I don't want to go higher because I don't want weight gain or lack of sexual interest. Nothing seems to help and I am now 57, suffered most of my life.

Currently i take Loratab and promethazine 25 mg. Of course that was through an urgent care Dr. and there diagnoses for me was the same as my symptoms..go figure. more or less they had no idea. The med does work but makes me feel very loopy and only last for 6 hours. My migraines wake me two to three x a night anymore. I was taking imitrex and...cant remember sorry, but i had to take it at the onset and before my deductible kicked in it was expensive, and I didnt always catch it in time, so in the end it wasnt worth it. I have no answers for you just support. I wish i could help more than that, because i know thats what you need. Just take care and keep talking to the Dr.s until they get it right. Heather
