Well, I have had migraines really bad this month and almost went to ER for IV which makes migraine go away. They wake me at night and also afternoon ; twice a day and pain is so bad. I am on Maxalt 10 mg , but it is taking longer to work. My life is awful and I can't drive and it is even hard to move when migraines come on. I was just wondering....med's not strong enough or my chiari ....I already had operation

I know you're going through a rough time - it is awful to be in pain all day. But if your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist. It's important to note that neurologists aren't necessarily Migraine and headache specialists. Take a look at the article Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special?
